EXPERIENCE
Mr. Robert Quintilliano possesses over 25 years experience as a corporate Environmental manager, providing compliance auditing, engineering, and pollution prevention services. His roles and responsibilities include Vice President of Business Development, Environmental and Energy Manager, Plant Engineer, Manufacturing Manager, and Chemical Engineer. Additionally, he has developed excellent project administration and management skills from his vast work experience.
Mr. Quintilliano has extensive experience in Public Service Commission (PSC) proceedings, including testimony. Mr. Quintilliano also has extensive experience in negotiations with regulatory agencies.
SELECTED PROJECT EXPERIENCES
Permitting and Coordination, First Energy, Lansing, Michigan. Developed and implemented programs to gain access to public power supply systems to reduce overall energy cost. Testified before House Committee and PSC regarding electricity regulations and the regulatory climate. Significant coordination with State agencies was an everyday part of the position.
Wastewater Treatment Systems Operation, Various Locations. Designed/managed/constructed various systems including Zimpro, PACT, Activated Carbon, Anoxic and Aerobic Biological, Deep Well Injection, and Neutralization.
Enironmental Compliance Auditing, SPX Corporation, Muskegon, Michigan. Developed and implemented programs focusing on industrial prevention and environmental compliance auditing at hundreds of company locations throughout the United States. Programs addressed TOSCA, CERCLA, SARA, NPDES, CAA and CWA regulations.
Development of Environmental Controls, General Electric, Company. Developed and implemented environmental controls allowing construction of commercial facilities manufacturing GE's newest high performance plastic Ultem®
Stabilization of Hazardous Product, Bofors Nobel, Inc., Muskegon, Michigan. Managed expansion project resulting in 30% increased production rates and $1.5 million reduction in capital expenditures while meeting production objectives. Costs of two major products were reduced 10% and 23% respectively.
Reduction of Production Costs, Hooker Chemical Corporation, Montague, Michigan. Eliminated a process step in hydrogen chloride combustion and reduced the manufacturing costs 50% while doubling production.
Reduction of Production Costs, Hooker Chemical Corporation, Montague, Michigan. Designed and installed energy heat recovery equipment to recuperate $50,000 per year in wasted energy with a four-month payback.
